The Broncos are also playing that night. This lack of advance notice and poor scheduling is unacceptable.

I agree this looks like this date was picked so the fewest number of people would show up.

I totally agree Karen! This feels like a set up to keep the public from voicing their concerns!

Are the previous comments/concerns on record somewhere from the first purposal by the developer? Will they be included or presented at this public meeting?

Nancy, the document with public comment is in this post. Scroll down a bit you should see it. I can't attach anything to comments in a thread.

Yes, there are many previous comments from the public, with the majority very negative. I doubt those previous comments will be part of this meeting, this is to show the new plans and get public input.

I might have included the comments in an earlier post I don't have time to look right now but will later.

I am encouraging folks to contact city staff about the timing of this meeting.

the date for this meeting is so that the public will not be represented, yet another big business money maker without our input

Sure looks suspicious. I am encouraging folks to contact city staff and express their disappointment with the timing of this meeting

I oppose using the marshland on 287 and Arapahoe rd. for further development.

I and many others have been yelling about that area since the first mention of this development. I kept holding their feet to the fire as they came up with bad ideas for it time and time again.

I can't make it Thursday evening and immediately thought, "I hope Karen will be able to update the community on this." I'm anxious to know what they have planned..

I am bummed that I have to go to a meeting about something this big so close to the holidays but I plan to be there.

Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. If a lot of people complained maybe it would make a difference.

Karen, the meeting is scheduled I fear my complaint would be futile. Surely, City staff is fully aware of the citizens previous complaints/suggestions on public notification of meetings.

Complaints are never futile. If no one says anything then the assumption is they are ok with it. I already sent my email. :-)

Karen, how could you be so distrusting of the developers intent? I'll have to give up the Boncos game to keep an eye on this😜

Ron you might think about complaining to city staff about this.
