Assuming a bond is passed, if the city sells the old city hall and senior center after building the new facilities, will they use that money to pay down the bond or just put the money in the general fund?
Good question for which I have no answer. At the meeting last night a member of the public asked what the plan was for city hall. The answer was we don't know yet. The history associated with city hall was also raised. One person said she was born in Lafayette and remembered when the library and police dept were in the building.
Someone else asked if there would still be a kitchen in the proposed senior center.
