Thanks for the tip about Udon Kaisha! That’s right near my house and I’ve never been. About a year ago I gave up restaurant food as part of an effort to lose a bunch of weight I gained during Covid, but after having lost all of that weight (and then some!), I recently added a weekly cheat day, so I’ve been eating at a few restaurants on Fridays, and I’ve been very disappointed and frustrated. Most every meal I’ve eaten at a restaurant now has ranged from disappointing to inedible, and the price tag has been jaw dropping! On my birthday I paid $6 for a cupcake at Button Rock Bakery that I took one bite of and tossed in the garbage (bone dry and the frosting tasted like lard) and I paid nearly $50 that same night for an Italian meal (flavorless lasagna and soggy Caesar salad with an inedible ahi tuna appetizer) from Bucatini Trattoria, a new Italian restaurant that I was really excited about trying, but was not impressed by. I’m really hoping to find some local places to enjoy my Friday treat when I can enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price. I’ll be trying this one tomorrow! Much appreciated!

So sorry to hear about all these food failures. I hope you like Udon Kaisha. Curry Corner is a food truck on Baseline and their food is delicious too.

Hmmm I had trouble with getting that link from the city website but when I click on it, the document is there as part of a council packet. What are you seeing?

I saw something like this with another link to that document. I'm going to reach out to the city and see if they can improve things. Thanks for letting me know.
