I'm at the point now where I just don't want any state government entity coming anywhere near our city. It seems more and more obvious that they are seeking to use our city as a worker bee colony for the city of Denver and for housing development to offset high prices around the state, not really caring that using us that way will destroy our unique and wonderful community. There have been multiple bills proposed, some passed, that run over our home rule authority and try to force us to become what THEY want and not what WE want, which would involve massive growth in a much more metropolitan style (lots of high rise apartments squeezed in anywhere THEY say they want them). Any time I see regional or corridor planning, I get very suspicious and concerned about what they are up to now. We should all be keeping a close eye on them and standing strong to protect ourselves and our city from their "plans for progress."
