111TH AND ARAPAHOE POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
A message from the group working against this development. Erie’s Town Council will vote on zoning this project at their May 28th meeting.
“Lafayette and Erie residents, we've had a specific request for community members to use the below link to tell Lafayette Council that high-density residential zoning is not appropriate on this corner. This effort will urge Lafayette Council to officially state our opposition to HDR.
lafayetteco.gov/FormCenter/CityClerk-19/Public-Input-463”
HDR=High Density Residential
Comments sent via that link will be included in the agenda packet of information for the next Lafayette City Council meeting on June 4th. They will become part of the public record. Council also receives the comments as soon as they are submitted.
The group has created a GoFundMe page to raise money for legal fees
OLD TOWN GARDEN TOUR
It’s Old Town Garden Tour time again. I went last year and it was awesome! The variety in garden styles is worth seeing. But the pride on the faces of the gardeners over their accomplishments is inspiring. Every gardener has a story to tell. If you are a gardener like me you will appreciate seeing what can be done and learning about all those plants you didn’t know about before but now must have.
