A petition against rezoning for the 111th and Arapahoe development in Erie

Some Lafayette residents will be impacted by this development

Since this development would impact Lafayette residents I wrote a heads-up on May 4th. There is now an online petition called “Preserve Our Neighborhood: Oppose High-Density Rezoning at 111th and Arapahoe Streets”

You will also find information about the issues being raised by Erie and Lafayette residents regarding this development proposal along with the petition, including a request to contact the Erie Town Council or attend their next meeting on May 28th, 2024.

38 people including two former Erie mayors and a former member of their council (or board of trustees) spoke in opposition to the rezoning at a March meeting. The vote was delayed.
