Update on the election results and the council vacancy appointment ( now 4 candidates)
The latest unofficial election results as of 11/8/23 at 9:50 pm. The official results will not be available until late November.
COUNCIL VACANCY CANDIDATES
On November 9th I reported on the City Council's selection of the six candidates they will interview on November 13th in order to fill the council seat open due to the sad and sudden passing of Councilor Tonya Briggs.
One of the candidates, David Fridland, looks to have won a seat in the election. He will no longer be interviewed.
Riley Hager has withdrawn.

6:00-6:30 Joanne Graham
6:30-7:00 Annette Rausch
7:00-7:30 Withdrawn
7:30-8:00 Saul Tapia Vega
Nov. 13, 2023, 5:30 pm- Special City Council meeting: City Council will interview the applicants and will hold a public input session immediately following the interviews. Council intends to appoint one of the applicants that same evening.Â
They can wait to make the decision but it must occur by November 17, 2023

Provide written public input at any time prior to the November 13 City Council meetings using the Public Input Form. Any input provided before 1 pm on the meeting date will be included in City Council’s materials for that meeting.Â
Write to City Council any time using the Contact Us form. This input will be emailed to City Council but not included in a City Council materials packet.Â
